Anxiety’s a Lying Little Shit — Here’s How to Shut It Up

Let’s be honest, anxiety’s an asshole. It whispers the worst-case scenario in your ear at 3 a.m. and then acts like it’s helping. It’s the toxic friend you can’t block because it lives in your head rent-free.

Here’s the truth: you don’t get rid of anxiety by “just relaxing.”  You learn to spot its bullshit. Therapy helps you see that the overthinking, doom-scrolling, heart-racing mess isn’t you, it’s your nervous system doing its weird little fire drill.

When I work with clients, I don’t hand them a glitter jar and call it healing. We actually get into the messy stuff, why your brain’s addicted to control, how your body keeps the score, and how to outsmart the fight-or-flight alarm that won’t shut up.

You’ll learn real tools: how to talk back to intrusive thoughts, how to stop spiraling, and how to remind your body that you’re not alone in this.

If you’re tired of anxiety running your show, therapy can help you take the mic back.

Be good to yourself.
